Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has resumed the side after the disappointing IPL 2025 season. Former New Zealand bowler James Franklin was the first to lose his job with Sunrisers Hyderabad before the next edition of the IPL.
On Monday, July 14, SRH welcomed former Indian pacer Varun Aaron for its coaching staff before IPL 2026. James Franklin was shown the door as Varun Aaron joined the Orange Army as his new bowling coach for the next season.

Aaron, who was known for his raw speed and aggression during his sports days, will now guide the SRH bowlers. The franchise welcomed the former Indian pacer and called them “fierce addition” in their setup. With his experience in domestic and international cricket, SRH hopes that Varun will bring fresh energy and fast strategy to the team’s bowling unit in IPL 2026.
