Even before the first ball of the Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders (MI vs KKR) match at the Wankhede Stadium today, West Indies star Sunil Narine created history as an overseas player in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Narine is now officially the most capped overseas player in the league, surpassing his former international teammate Kieron Pollard. They achieved the feat as soon as KKR announced their playing line-up to take on Mumbai Indians for their first match this season.
