The Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar has gone to the English captain Ben Stokes for misconduct with the Indian batsmen during the closing stages of the 4th test at Manchester.
The Indian legend slammed the English captain with the aim of preventing Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar from going to hundreds of their respective stunning people, despite being 15 overs in the last day’s game.

Ben Stokes offered Jadeja and Washington Sundar a Handshek, who turned it down after a similar decision by Skipper, Shubman Gill.

The English captain and players looked angry with the verdict, as they started unnecessary sledging and later handed over the ball to the ball to bowl Lolipop delivery so that the Indian batsmen could reach hundreds of people early.
“At the end of the trial, some angry English players were unhappy that batsmen at the crease, Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar rejected the offer to end the day’s game when England captain Ben Stokes proposed it at the beginning of the last hour.”
“Instead, he opted to bat and complete his hundreds. England players felt that, since there was no chance of a result, Indians should have accepted the proposal to end the proceedings.”
Gavaskar wrote in his column for Sportstar, “They forgot that two teams are playing there, and if someone decides to continue, the other just has to accept it.”
“.. Exclude the remaining overs” – Gavaskar shows an incomplete attitude towards English abuse
Gavaskar slammed Stokes to disrespect the greatness of the innings played by two batsmen, as he should have opposed his centuries with overs from his regular bowlers instead of creating a bowler bowl, which is not even given a part-time position.
“He made sarcastic remarks about the batsmen, who were in his 80s, being bowling for centuries with the bowling of a batsman. The hard work he had and the batsmen had given flexibility to the batsmen for more than four hours to reach the 80s.”
“If they wanted a hundred for their efforts, England should have denied appropriate bowlers instead of reaching there against Harry Brook,” Gavaskar seemed disappointed with English abuse.
“A test century is not easy and not every match comes, so the batsmen were entitled to batting completely and reaching their personal sites – which he eventually did.”
He mentioned that if he had been a captain, he would not let England easily go away, as he would have urged the batsmen to play all the rest of the overs to advance the English bowlers.
A strict attitude depicted by the former Indian legend, “If I were the captain, if I were the captain, if I would have been batting and ask them to play the remaining overs, who take out the fielders even more – especially after Xinigans by English players.
‘Talk is affordable’ – Sunil Gavaskar carried forward English batsmen
Sunil Gavaskar, while talking to Sony Sports Network, made another point next time, as he highlighted the hypocrisy of the English batsmen. After losing the second Test of England, he took some references from the post -match scenes in Birmingham.
“In one of the media conferences after the second Test defeat in Birmingham, some England players were trying to be funny, asked why India had set him a target of more than 600. They even scared that they would chase anything above 450.”
“The fact is that, when they were high from scoring a pile of run on flat tracks and rapid outfields in Pakistan, they proud of India even before the visit to India that they could follow 600.”
“Okay, the matter is inexpensive, and when he is given a chance to put his mouth to chase more than 600 in Birmingham, he faced defeat by 336 runs. Yes, he did not even get 300 while chasing more than 600.”
