Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar on Sunday quit his views in the Pakistan National Cricket Team, canceling his press conference before the much awaited struggle against Archaerals India. This is the second time when both teams will head in this Asia Cup.
There has been a lot of pressure on Salman Aga -led side and he is constantly facing media pieces. However, after his derogatory defeat against India, he has placed a low profile and most of the media has avoided appearances. He also canceled the press conference before the game against UAE.

Legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has recently excavated in the Pakistan National Cricket Team, when he decided to cancel his press conference citing any appropriate cause of cancellation.
“I don’t know what is thinking behind him, but as far as I know, press conferences are mandatory. If the teams do not catch them, I am not sure what the punishment are – if anyone – but in today’s world, it is important to include the media and not informed.”
Gavaskar told India Today, “It is still necessary to maintain open communication with the media.

Sunil Gavaskar further suggested that the Asian Cricket Council, the Asian Cup -operating body, may cut the team’s points to not appear in the press conference.
“Yes, Mohsin Naqvi is the head of ACC, but is an organization under them including India, Sri Lanka and other partners and non-parting members nations-who collectively build the Asian Cricket Council,” they added to the above source.
“As far as I know, there is a governing committee within the ACC for such a tournament, and they probably want to understand what is going on.”
“If there is something in the rule book that is mandatory to attend a press conference, perhaps going ahead, if a team fails to comply, a point can be cut off from their table. It can be a viable way,” Sunil Gavaskar warned the Pakistan team.
