Steve Smith hit an incredible six, which surprised everyone. He hit the ball cleanly through the middle of the bat and it flew 107 meters before hitting the roof of the SCG.
Ann McAndrew bowled a ball at a speed of 137 kilometers per hour outside the off stump. Smith went back, got into position, and swung hard across the line. The ball went over deep square leg and landed on the roof of the Brewong Stand. If there was no roof it would have gone even further.
Smith stood and looked at the ball, made his usual hand gesture and smiled. The hit came as part of a hat-trick of boundaries. It was one of the biggest sixes seen at the SCG in recent times.
