From the over long ago, Zimbabwe’s bowlers dominated and made life difficult for visiting batsmen on Saturday, 6 September. Although there was nothing in the pitch, Lankan batsmen fought to leave, and the innings of visitors ended in 18th.
Kusal Mendis, Patam Nisanka, Nuvanidu Fernando, Kamil Mishara, and Kamindu Mendis went inside 7 overs. After that, Dasun Shanaka fell in the 13th over, and on the fourth ball of the 18th over, Mahesh Thekshana was out as the last wicket, and Sri Lanka was excluded for 80 runs.
For visitors, Kamil Mishara (20), Charith Asanka (18), and Dasun Shanaka (15) scored in double digits, while Brad Evans and Sikander Raza took three wickets for the hosts and blessed Mijarabani and Seen Williams with blessings.
