South Africa will take on Bangladesh in the 14th match of the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. The match is scheduled to be played on Monday (October 13) at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.
South Africa is currently fourth in the points table with two wins from three matches. They started their campaign with a 10-wicket defeat against Bangladesh before responding brilliantly by defeating New Zealand and co-hosts India.
South Africa beat India by three wickets after winning by six wickets over New Zealand. Chasing 252, South Africa were tottering at 81/5, but Laura Wolvaardt (70) and Nadine de Klerk (84*) powered them to an impressive win.
With their momentum, South Africa will be hoping for another win. They would also like to improve their negative net run-rate against Bangladesh. South Africa has won 18 out of 21 ODI matches against Bangladesh so far and will be a strong contender for victory in the upcoming match as well.

Bangladesh is entering this match after suffering a heavy 100-run defeat at the hands of New Zealand. After starting their campaign with a win over Pakistan, Bangladesh suffered a defeat against England although they impressed everyone with their performance.
However, New Zealand outplayed them by a considerable margin. Although they performed well with the ball and restricted New Zealand to 227 runs, their batsmen once again failed to perform well. The onus will be on the batsmen to shine in the upcoming match as Bangladesh are eyeing a famous win.
