Keshav Maharaj was named Proteus Captain for the ongoing Test series in Zimbabwe after taking Temba Bavuma out of the tour due to injury. Unfortunately, an experienced spinner also suffered a back injury while batting in the first and was dropped from the second Test against Zimbabwe.

Meanwhile, the young off-spinner Prenelan is set to make his Test debut for South Africa in the second Test against Lescoan Zimbabwe. Sabraine is an experienced red-ball all-rounder with 77 games under his belt.

Among the right-handed batsmen, 1595 runs with a century and seven fifties and 242 wickets are in first-class cricket with his off-spin in his name. The 31-year-old has also played 101 List-A Games, where he has 933 runs and 96 wickets in his name. He scored 492 runs and so far took 110 wickets in 120 T20s.
On the other hand, Lesgo Senocwen scored 2654 runs in 51 first-class matches and 1261 runs in 55 List-A matches. The middle-handed middle-order batsman has also scored 491 runs in 37 T20s. The 28-year-old is also an easy off-spinner, taking 14 wickets in red-ball cricket.

South Africa’s eyes can decide clean sweep, spin game
After crushing Zimbabwe with a margin of 328 runs in the first Test, South Africa will enter the second and final match as a clear favorite. Larger centuries from the Lohan-Dre Pretorius and Vian Malder conducted the protease for a major victory over the hosts.
