Kuldeep Yadav ends the tour of England without a game

30-year-old left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav has received a large-scale support from cricket experts to facilitate the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025.

However, the team management led by Gautam Gambhir has completely blocked the external noise and has not shown enough confidence in Kuldeep Yadav.

From the first match at Handingley in Leeds, Kuldeep’s inclusion was demanded in India, many of which called him an X-factor and game-changer.

But the Indian team management decided to put more emphasis on the depth of batting; Therefore, Kuldeep faced snobs continuously. After heating the bench in four back-to-back matches, several media outlets reported that Kuldeep was likely to conclude the series.

It was reported that the left-handed wrist-spinner was seriously considering to play the fifth Test at the Oval in London, but finally, he missed the selection, despite four changes in India’s line-up.

Kuldeep is what India should continue – Sourav Ganguly

Legendary captain Sourav Ganguly was disappointed to see Kulidi Yadava again and advised Gautam Gambhir to stay with leftist wrist-spinner as he is one for the future.

“I think England had gone with four fast bowlers. He left a little grass on the wicket – I was assuming that there were quality spinners like Jadeja and Ashwin in India.

“We saw what happened when India batted-there were not a top-ranked spinner in the England attack, and they could not take wickets. In the past, teams had great spinners-they were Warne, Muralitharan, Swan and Panesar of England, or even for our own Harbajan and Kumble.

I wonder not seeing Mukesh Kumar in the national squad – Sourav Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly further provided assistance to Pesar Ansul Kamboj, who fell right after his debut game, but expressed surprise at the non-selection of Bengal’s Pesar Mukesh Kumar in the India Test Squad.

Ganguly said, “Do not judge Ansul Kambaj on the basis of only one Test match. He is a young child who has taken a lot of wickets in domestic cricket. We need to assess more than five, six, even eight tests before making an opinion.”

“He said, I will be honest-I wonder Mukesh Kumar, especially in the red ball cricket in the national squad. His domestic numbers are unprecedented, and these conditions would have fully adapted his bowling style. Hopefully he will get his opportunity in the near future.”
