This obstruction was not caused by weather or injury, but rather caused by a massive herd of seagle in the Cooper Associates County Ground in Tuntan. An unusual incident occurred during the 59th over of the Samarset’s innings against Nottinghamshire on Sunday.

A large group of seagels swoop and gathered near the pitch, causing the on-field umpires to stop the county championship game between Somerset and Nottinghamshire and temporarily to protect the players and to clean the unexpected intruders.

Players from both sides of the Samarset and Nottinghamshire saw in entertainment, as the birds captured the field, the ground staff gently stepped into to remove them.

Seagal hit and killed in BBL match at MCG
Last time, such an incident occurred during the Big Bash League (BBL) earlier this year, but it was an unfortunate. In January 2025, similar scenes were revealed during the BBL Clash between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne stars at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
