Raza believes the teenage Indian batsman has the talent to become one of the biggest stars in world cricket despite failing to make a big impact in three innings in England.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is expected to be one of the biggest attractions in the upcoming three-match T20 series between India and Zimbabwe starting from July 23 at the Harare Sports Club.

Ahead of the opening match of the T20 series, Sikandar Raza feels it is too early to evaluate a player who is only 15 years old after a few failures at the highest level. He emphasized that Vaibhav has already shown exceptional talent and he should be given enough time to learn and improve his game.
The Zimbabwe captain also said that the way India handles the youth will be very important in the next few years. Raza said that if Vaibhav gets the right guidance, he can become a once-in-a-generation cricketer.
Sikandar Raza said on JioHotStar: “Vaibhav is an extremely talented cricketer. If a 15-year-old kid is playing international cricket and if you start criticizing him after just two or three matches, I think it is not fair. I think there are a lot of good senior cricketers around Vaibhav. If he is managed and handled well, I think Vaibhav can be a generational talent.”

Zimbabwe tour gives Vaibhav Suryavanshi the perfect opportunity to silence his critics
Well, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has returned to Zimbabwe, where he played one of the biggest innings of his young career during the ICC Under-19 World Cup earlier this year. He helped India win the title by scoring 175 runs in just 80 balls in the final against England.
With Sanju Samson rested for the tour, Vaibhav is likely to get a chance to prove himself in all three matches against Zimbabwe. After scoring only 14, 13 and 15 in the England T20 series, the young opener will be keen to bounce back strongly.
