Yashasvi Jaiswal relieved Shubman Gill of the guilt placed on the Indian captain for his unfortunate dismissal which cost him his double century.
India defeated West Indies by 140 runs and an innings in the first Test of the home series and then headed to Delhi for the second match of the series. On a batting-friendly pitch of Delhi, Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to bat first.
With an unchanged XI from the first Test win in Ahmedabad, India roared in the first innings of the second Test. They scored a huge score of 518 runs with the help of centuries from Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Shubman Gill.

Indian spinners achieved success despite batting friendly track
