Shubman Gill confirms his opening partner ahead of IPL 2026
Like the question, the answer also came directly and fluently. Gill said that it would be wrong to demote the batsman who won the Orange Cap in the last IPL season.
Hence, Gujarat Titans are likely to retain the opening pair of Gill and Sudarshan, commonly known as ‘Sai-Su’, in the upcoming Indian Premier League campaign. In the last edition, Sudarshan scored 759 runs at an average of 54.21 in 15 matches to become the best batsman of IPL 2025.
