Indian captain Shubman Gill is determined to win the second match by an innings as well. Tegenarin Chanderpaul top-edged Mohammed Siraj’s bumper, and Shubman Gill raced back to mid-wicket to complete a diving catch.

After bowling out West Indies for just 248 runs in the first innings, Indians have taken a huge lead of 270 runs in the first innings. The Indian captain and management decided to follow-on, despite the bowlers having bowled almost 40 overs since the morning session.

Along with fast bowler Mohammad Siraj, the new ball was handed over not to Jasprit Bumrah but to Ravindra Jadeja. This time, unlike the first innings, a fast bowler drew first blood for India. In his 5th over, Siraj bowled a back-of-the-length cross-seamer which reached Chanderpaul quickly, who applied pressure to create space and bowled it towards mid-on.

Gill made a quick comeback with his eyes on the ball and completed a brilliant catch by diving with both hands. Chanderpaul was out after scoring just 10 runs.
