Indian national cricket team captain Shubman Gill has forgotten the defeat in the T20 series against the England national cricket team and is eyeing a fresh start in the three-match ODI series.
Shubman Gill made his comments while attending the pre-match press conference ahead of the start of the series at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham on Tuesday, July 14.
“Different format, different environment”-Shubman Gill ODI series will be a new challenge
Shubman Gill explained that the result of the T20I series will have no impact on the upcoming ODI series and also said that ODI cricket is a different format with a different environment, adding that the team is fully aware of its objectives and will go into the series with a new mindset.
Speaking to the media, he said, “I don’t think the T20 series will have any impact on it. It is a different format and the team knows what it has to achieve. Different format, different environment.”
