In a heart-touching moment after India’s 2-0 Test series win over West Indies on home soil, captain Shubman Gill carried forward the tradition started by MS Dhoni and was followed by both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma by handing over the series trophy to Narayan Jagadeesan.
Even though Narayan Jagadeesan did not get a chance to play in the two-match Test series, the young Indian wicketkeeper-batsman got a moment in the limelight as Shubman Gill decided to create a heart-touching memory for him by giving him a chance to lift the trophy.
Shubman Gill handed over the trophy to Narayan Jagadeesan and Ravindra Jadeja added to the celebration.
However, a funny and memorable moment during the trophy celebration made headlines. In a playful manner, Ravindra Jadeja jumped and snatched the trophy from Jagadeesan, celebrating with his usual energy and enthusiasm. This scene brought laughter and excitement to the team.
