Shubman Gill, who was looking in good form after being invited to bat first, was upset with himself after being dismissed by Gus Atkinson during the India vs England 2nd ODI at Sophia Gardens Cricket Ground, Cardiff. He shouted at himself when Ben Duckett took a sharp catch at cover.
Shubman Gill played an uphill cover drive off Gus Atkinson which went straight into the hands of Ben Duckett, who took a sharp catch as the ball passed through the middle of the India skipper’s bat and went swiftly to the English opener.
Shubman Gill got angry after being out
This incident happened in the 7.4th over, the ball was hit well, but in the wind. Gill was angry, as it was a half-volley outside off, and Gill proceeded to hit the ball as hard as possible, but failed to stop it, and the ball went to Duckett at cover, as the ball was travelling.
Shubman Gill, who scored 80 runs in the first game before retiring hurt, returned with the same form in the second match, he looked in great form and scored 31 runs in 30 balls with the help of six fours and played some excellent and aggressive cricket on the day before his departure and gave a good start to India.
