Shubman Gill crowned Cricketer of the Year as Rahul Dravid receives BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award

India’s capital Delhi is all set to witness a grand celebration on March 15 as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will host its annual Naman Awards. The main attraction at Naman Awards 2026 will be on Shubman Gill and Rahul Dravid.

According to the Indian Express, batting legend and former Indian head coach Dravid will be honored with the prestigious Colonel CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award by the BCCI in recognition of his unmatched contribution to Indian cricket both as a player and coach.

India’s Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill will receive the Cricketer of the Year award for his stellar performance with the bat. The BCCI is also considering giving a lifetime honor to former India women’s captain Mithali Raj, which will celebrate her incredible journey and impact on women’s cricket.

In domestic cricket, Mumbai’s Ayush Mhatre will receive the Lala Amarnath Award for his brilliant all-round performance in the limited overs game.
