Shubman Gill abuses Kuldeep Yadav for laziness, Indian spinner confronts him

Team India had to face defeat by one run due to Kuldeep Yadav’s mistake in the ongoing third ODI against Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground, after which captain Shubman Gill did not look much impressed with Kuldeep Yadav.

The incident occurred in the 28th over when Kuldeep Yadav was bowling to Matt Renshaw. On the second ball of the over, the left arm spinner bowled a flighted delivery on the off stump. The Australian batsman hit the ball towards the bowler.

However, Kuldeep Yadav failed to stop the ball and allowed the Australian batsmen to steal quick singles.

And as soon as Kuldeep stumbled, Shubman Gill moved towards him and was seen saying something to him in an animated manner. After this, both the teammates were seen chatting for a while before Kuldeep started bowling.

Talking about the performance of Kuldeep Yadav in the current match, he gave 45 runs in his first 6 overs without taking any wicket.

The spinner was left out for the first two matches of the series before being recalled into the playing eleven for the third match. Kuldeep will be keen to make an impact in his remaining overs to justify the team management’s decision.

Meanwhile, till the time of writing the report, Australia’s score was 191/4 in the 36th over. Renshaw was batting on 55 runs while Cooper Connolly was unbeaten on 5 runs. With about 15 overs left in the match, Australia will be eyeing a score of over 300.

India made a strong comeback after Australia’s brilliant start

Earlier in the match, Mitchell Marsh and Travis Head gave a strong start to Australia by adding 61 runs for the first wicket. Mohammad Siraj broke the stand by dismissing Head for 29 runs.

After this there was a partnership of 27 runs between Marsh and Matt Short, before Marsh was clean bowled by Akshar Patel for 41 runs. Short also got a start, but he failed to convert it into a big score and was out for 30 after a brilliant catch by Virat Kohli. Alex Carey also did not give a good start and was out after scoring 24 runs on the ball of Harshit Rana.
