Shashank Singh was selected by Punjab Kings (PBK) in the IPL 2024 auction. The right -handed batsman proved his price, scoring 354 runs at a strike rate of 164.65. He played an important role in winning with continuous performance in the middle and lower order.
Punjab Kings retained him before the 2025 mega auction, and Singh also took his form in the new season. He scored more than 350 runs in 14 innings at a strike rate above 150.

India is ready to open the Asia Cup 2025 campaign on September 10
The Asia Cup is to be played in the T20 format on 2025. According to the schedule, the tournament will begin with matches in Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on 9 September. India, nominated hosts, are placed in Group A along with Pakistan, UAE and Oman.
Team India will open its campaign against UAE at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 10 September. He will play his second group-phase match against Pakistan on 14 September and conclude his group fixtures against Oman on 19 September.
Group B includes Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Hong Kong. The Super 4 stage will begin on September 20, with the tournament concluding in the final on 28 September.
