In a major and positive development, Punjab Kings (PBKS) captain Shreyas Iyer has been cleared to continue playing without any hindrance in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) following an injury.
Shreyas Iyer suffered a shocking wrist injury in PBKS’s IPL 2026 opener against Gujarat Titans. The scary moment came during Punjab’s chase against Gujarat Titans on April 1, when Cooper Connolly’s 165 km/h rocket shot grazed Iyer’s right wrist at the non-striker’s end.
