The BCCI medical team, which has been continuously giving updates on Shreyas’s health, has confirmed that he is doing well and has been discharged from the hospital today.
The BCCI has heartily thanked the doctors of both the countries who ensured the speedy recovery of the Indian batsman. Dr Kouroush Haghighi and his team in Sydney, along with Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala in India, were the men behind this remarkable recovery.
However, Iyer’s stay in Australia has been prolonged as he will have to stay for further follow-ups and will return to India once he is deemed fit to fly.
