Shreyas Iyer suffered almost fatal injury
Meanwhile, Dainik Jagran journalist Abhishek Tripathi has made a shocking revelation on Iyer’s injury. He revealed that the email written by Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala to the BCCI clearly mentioned that Iyer could have lost his life if the medical team had not given him adequate treatment on the field.
The journalist revealed, “A huge piece of information is coming out about Shreyas Iyer. Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala, head of the BCCI medical team, member of the ICC medical team and head of medical sciences at Kokilaben Hospital, wrote an email to the BCCI at 6 pm on the 26th. It is a four-point email. I will tell you one by one.”
“The most important point is the fourth, in which he has said that if the BCCI medical team had not made a proper diagnosis on the field and not intervened immediately, Iyer’s life could have been in danger. That is, the injury was so serious that Iyer could have lost his life.”
“This is Dr. Pardiwala’s fourth point. ‘Your timely diagnosis and immediate intervention would have saved a life. This is his last point. His last and most important point. The wound was very serious.'”
‘The first 24 hours were very difficult for Shreyas Iyer’
Also, the journalist further revealed that Dr. Dinshaw Pardiwala said that the first 48 hours would be very crucial for Iyer, and that a doctor, Dr. Rizwan, was given the duty of providing India Star’s medical updates to his family twice on a daily basis.
The reporter further added, “In the second point, Pardiwala wrote that ‘the first 24 hours are crucial and fortunately everything is fine now.’ That is, yesterday evening he was saying that the first 24 hours were very difficult, full of problems. Fortunately, all is well at the moment. Everything is fine now.”
“‘Hopefully, we will see the same progress in the next 48 hours. We should not be in any hurry to shift Shreyas out of the ICU for the next 48 hours.’
