In a shocking new revelation, CWAB has claimed that veteran Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman does not want to pursue the matter with the BCCI or Kolkata Knight Riders despite the support of the World Cricket Association.

After being included in the KKR camp following the 2026 IPL mini-auction, Mustafizur Rahman was dropped from the IPL 2026 participation, which had wide-ranging consequences, and the results were not viewed well by the BCB, who were intent on avenging their humiliation.

The move came amid tensions over the killing of Hindus in the country behind the building. Despite ICC’s request to reverse this decision, he maintained his stance. However, BCB continues its fight against BCCI.

Mustafizur Rahman is not thinking of taking matters forward with KKR

While BCB’s fight against the board continues, there has been no statement from Mustafizur Rahman himself on the matter. The stance of the star fast bowler is completely different and it is completely opposite to what the BCB is predicting.

“Mustafizur Rahman did not want to take his issue further. He did not want us to take it up with the board. It is the player’s duty to raise complaints with the Players Welfare Association, but he did not want to take the issue further,” Mithun said at the press conference.
