Australiaβs star batsman Marnus Labuschagne was appointed the captain of Hyderabad Kingsmen, also known as Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen. On March 17, the franchise made the official announcement on social media platforms through a video post. The Australian star will be the captain of the newly formed team in the upcoming Pakistan Super League season (PSL 2026).
The new franchise, which is based in Hyderabad, Sindh, is all set to make its debut in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League. FKS Group has invested PKR 1.75 billion to play in the T20 league in Pakistan.

Marnus Labuschagne will captain Hyderabad Kingsmen in the 11th season of PSL.
As the head coach of the team, the franchise signed former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie. Niaz Stadium in Hyderabad, Pakistan has been chosen as their home ground. Along with Marnus Labuschagne, Australia star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell and Pakistan international all-rounder Sam Ayub are some of their top signings.
Hyderabad Kingsmen will play their first PSL match against Lahore Qalandars in Lahore on March 26, with less than a few weeks left before their opening match in the tournament.
