Shoaib Akhtar also criticized umpiring during the match. He said that the dismissal of the opener Fakhar Zaman was wrong and said that the batsman should have been given the benefit of doubt. Akhtar said that the umpire failed to assess the available camera angles.
“Fakhar was not out. He should have benefited the benefit of doubt … he [umpire] Can not see the angle from here. Why can’t he see an angle? There are 26 cameras, yet no angle is visible. He saw two angles and made his decision. ,
