Shivam Dubey was angry at Rinku Singh. Then due to the misunderstanding between these two batsmen, Team India had to lose the wicket. Dubey was batting well, well settled on the track, when Pakistan ran him out.
Dubey was not at all happy with his batting partner Rinku Singh. This was not the first time that the team had to suffer run out in the presence of these two batsmen. It was the final moments of the first innings when the Men in Blue lost one of their big hitters.
Rinku Singh was sitting on protest against Shaheen Afridi
Shaheen Afridi was in front of Rinku Singh on the fifth ball of the 20th over. When the ball pitched outside off, Singh played with a soft hand. The right-handed batsman had to reach the ball before making connection. After making a connection with the blade, the ball went towards sweeper cover, where Mohammad Nawaz was present to receive the ball.
Meanwhile, Rinku and Shivam completed the single with ease. Dubey called a second time and quickly set out for him. This was the fifth ball of the 20th over, so the batsmen were excited for obvious reasons. While Dubey wanted to steal another run with all his heart, Rinku was hesitant.
Shivam Dubey wanted another
After completing the first run, Rinku was at the non-striker end and Shivam was at the striker end. Shivam Dubey turned quickly and ran a few yards, but his batting partner stopped him from running. Fielder Nawaz, who collected the ball, made no mistake in throwing it to the striker’s end. Keeper Usman Khan collected the ball accurately and hit it on the stumps. The red lights on the stumps started blinking; Dubey had to leave.

In this match, Shivam Dubey scored 27 runs in 17 balls with the help of three fours and one six, taking his strike rate to 158.82. At the other end, Rinku Singh remained unbeaten on 11 runs in 4 balls with one four and one six. Both his innings were important from the team’s point of view, as they managed to score 175 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Excellent batting performance from Team India
Two key batsmen, Abhishek Sharma and Hardik Pandya were out without scoring any runs, which was a big blow for the team. Ishan Kishan appeared as the top performer for the team with his excellent inning of 77 runs in 40 balls. He completed his half-century facing only 27 balls, which is an all-time record in the India vs Pakistan rivalry.
Captain Suryakumar Yadav was out after scoring 32 runs in 29 balls. The total was very competitive, but Indian cricket fans were expecting more fireworks from the star-studded batting lineup.
