Acting Hele Mathews Women continued their reign in women’s cricket, both women ODIs and women’s T20 Player of the Year Awards. Her contribution with both bat and ball has made her the foundation stone of the West Indies women’s team, as she gave her continuously winning performances in formats. Against the recently concluded second T20i South AfricaMathews earned the Player of the Match for his all-round show, where he took a wicket and scored 63 runs to win the match.

Sir Clive Lloyd honored the anniversary of the historic World Cup
The main attraction of the evening was the Lifetime Achievement Award for Lloyd, which in 1975 led the West Indies for their first World Cup title and repeated the feat in 1979. This year’s celebrations paid special tribute to the 50th anniversary of the first historic victory, which celebrated the Lelaid and the Legari Squad Legari of his tenure.
