Aicwa demands a total ban on Pakistani artists and materials in India

Earlier, the All-Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) asked the Government of India to impose a complete ban on Pakistani artists and entertainment in the country after a dispute with the Government of India. On Wednesday, the group sent a request to PM Narendra Modi, asking for a complete break for all cultural and digital relations with Pakistan.

Aicwa called it a “emotional attack” on families who lost loved ones in terrorist attacks. He named Mavra Hocken and Yumna Zaidi, stating that his presence on Indian platforms was an abusive for soldiers who died while protecting the country.

He reminded of the previous terrorist attacks such as 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Pulwama, Uri and recent Pahalgam attacks, killing 26 civilians. AICWA also said that some Pakistani personalities spoke against India after Operation Sindoor, and now they want the government to completely block Pakistani materials and artists of India forever, both online and offline.
