Pakistan national cricket team’s premier fast bowler Shaheen Afridi was involved in a heated argument with bowling coach Umar Gul during the ongoing second Test match against Bangladesh national cricket team in Sylhet.
The incident garnered massive attention on social media as Shaheen Afridi was seen looking disappointed during an animated conversation with Umar Gul on the sidelines of the Test match.

A viral video on social media shows Shaheen Afridi having an intense discussion with Pakistan bowling coach Umar Gul during the second Test against Bangladesh starting on May 16.
In the clip, Shaheen looked animated while talking to the former Pakistan fast bowler near the boundary ropes. The left-arm pacer said something to Umar Gul during the conversation, and when the bowling coach replied, Shaheen ignored him before moving on from him.
The exact reason behind the animated conversation is unknown, but the visuals instantly sparked discussion among fans, with many claiming that Shaheen Afridi was disrespecting the coach, while others claimed that the discussion was about Hasan Ali’s injury, but nothing is clear yet.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time in recent times that Shaheen Afridi has found himself at the center of controversy. Earlier, there were reports of a dispute in the dressing room between Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood and Shaheen.

Shaheen Afridi was dropped from the second test match
Meanwhile, Pakistan made some major changes to their playing eleven for the second Test against Bangladesh at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first despite overcast conditions on the pitch, which had plenty of grass. The visitors made three changes to the team after the defeat in the first Test in Mirpur.
Babar Azam has returned to the playing eleven after recovering from left knee injury. Imam-ul-Haq was dropped from the team, leaving Abdullah Fazal at the top of the order, while Babar Azam moved up to No. 4.
Meanwhile, Shaheen and spinner Noman Ali were also dropped from the playing eleven. Pakistan brought in right-arm fast bowler Khurram Shahzad and off-spinner Sajid Khan as replacements.
Bangladesh also made two changes to their lineup with Tanjeed Hasan handed his Test debut cap, while left-arm fast bowler Shoriful Islam replaced Ebadot Hossain.
Pakistan bowled out Bangladesh for 278 runs in the first innings.

The visiting team got a dream start when experienced fast bowler Mohammad Abbas dismissed Mahmudul Hasan Joy for a duck on the very second ball of the innings. Abbas continued his excellent form and dismissed debutant Tanjeed Hasan for 26 runs and captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto for 29 runs.
Khurram Shahzad, who was included in the playing eleven in place of Shaheen, justified his selection by taking an impressive four wickets. However, wicketkeeper-batsman Liton Das played a sensational counter-attacking innings for Bangladesh. He scored 126 runs in 159 balls with the help of 16 fours and two sixes and emerged as the best performer for the host team.
Apart from Liton Das, none of the Bangladesh batsmen managed to convert their starts into big innings as Pakistan managed to bowl out the hosts for 278 runs.
