The Big Cricket League (BCL) Season 2 is all set to return with its much-awaited second season, as the official schedules for the tournament have now been announced. The league will be played from June 3 to June 13, 2026, at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex, Greater Noida, promising 11 days of exciting cricket action.
But the Big Cricket League is more than just another franchise tournament.
Established as the world’s first professional-amateur (Pro-Am) cricket league, the BCL is built on a unique approach, providing a second chance to avid cricketers whose dreams were disrupted by life circumstances, financial pressures, career responsibilities or personal challenges.

Among the key names this season, Northern Challengers will include West Indies explosive legend Chris Gayle, while UP Bridge Stars will be represented by former India opener Shikhar Dhawan. One of the major attractions for Southern Spartans is former New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill, while Gujarat Diamonds will have experienced Sri Lankan all-rounder Angelo Mathews.
MP Tigers will add more star power with the addition of experienced Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh, while Mumbai Marines are still maintaining a mystery around their marquee announcement.
Mumbai Marines will face UP Bridge Stars in the tournament opener on June 3, kicking off an intense league phase that will lead to the knockout stage. The semi-finals are scheduled for June 12, followed by the grand finale on June 13, where one team will emerge as the Big Cricket League Season 2 champion.
