Sara Tendulkar could be in a delicate position when Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) take on Gujarat Titans (GT) for an IPL 2026 match. LSG is scheduled to face KKR at 3.30 pm GT on the coming Sunday at the Ekana Stadium.

Sara Tendulkar’s brother, Arjun Tendulkar, who was a part of Mumbai Indians for several seasons, joined LSG ahead of the IPL 2026 season. Fast bowling all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar got to play a very limited number of matches for the 5-time IPL winning team.

Why did Arjun Tendulkar join LSG from Mumbai Indians?

He joined LSG in the hope of getting more opportunities. He has not yet played his first IPL match for Lucknow Super Giants.

“You played a few matches for Mumbai Indians (MI) and bowled well. Your swing was good, so did you feel you should have got more chances?” Arjun Tendulkar was asked a question while talking in an interview on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast.

He replied, “Who doesn’t feel that way? Nobody wants to sit on the bench. But we want to work hard and perform when we get the chance.”

LSG is all set to give a tough fight against Shubman Gill’s GT

In the next match, Arjun’s team will face Gujarat Titans. Shubman Gill is the captain of GT, and that is why some paparazzi asked Sara Tendulkar to choose between LSG and GT.

LSG will be her brother’s side, and GT will be her alleged boyfriend’s side. For quite some time now, cricket fans on social media platforms have been speculating about a possible relationship between Sara and Shubman. However, neither of them said a single word about this.

What did Sara Tendulkar say when asked about LSG vs GT match?

When Sara was asked to choose between LSG and GT, she blushed and smiled, but did not say a word in response.

At present, after playing three matches, both the teams, Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans, are not in a comfortable position in the IPL 2026 points table. With a few wins, LSG are now placed 5th with 4 points and a net run rate of -0.359, while with only one win and two losses, Shubman Gill-led Gujarat Titans are placed seventh with only 2 points. Ahead of Sunday’s clash, both teams have claimed one win each.

Last night in Kolkata LSG got a big win against Kolkata Knight Riders. Mukul Chaudhary and Lucknow’s emerging uncapped batsman ensured the team’s victory by playing match-winning innings.

Under pressure, the middle-order batsman scored an unbeaten fifty and secured all the points from the away match. LSG won on the last ball of the match. Another young batsman from Lucknow, Ayush Badoni, played well in the run chase.
