SRH’s uncapped pacer Saqib Hussain troubled Shivam Dubey before finishing another brilliant spell for the Orange Army in this edition of Tata IPL 2026.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has one of the strongest batting units in this edition of the IPL. Apart from this, players like Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen are playing some good innings for their team. Despite this, the team struggled with the ball in hand as they failed to defend even big scores.
The story finally and truly changed for Sunrisers when they brought two uncapped pacers on board. Prafulla Hinge and Saqib Hussain burst onto the scene against Rajasthan Royals and led them to an incredible win against the best team of the tournament.
Saqib Hussain dodged Shivam Dubey with full force
Despite not finding himself between the wickets at the beginning of the game, Saqib Hussain bowled brilliantly and did not concede many runs. The Bihar fast bowler, who previously played with CSK as a net bowler, made perfect use of his yorkers and deceived everyone with the changing pace balls.
Standing strong against Shivam Dubey, he bowled a delivery across the wickets and the ball went over the middle. The stumps were uprooted and the bails were blown back, what a sight for a young fast bowler like Shakib. The new SRH speedgun has done this for his team by dismissing the dangerous Dubey.

Shivam Dubey came to bat at number three. 7 for Chennai Super Kings, and he looked to be a very important player in the death overs while chasing the target. With a strike rate of 131.25, Dubey could not score more than 21 runs in just 16 balls.
Ishan Malinga, Nitish Reddy and Saqib Hussain lead SRH to promising win
Sunrisers were not a promising team with the ball until two uncapped pacers took the field. However, young Mhatre had Hinge out for a run before Nitish Kumar Reddy came in with the new ball from the other end.
Reddy took two wickets in the innings, while Ishan Malinga also took three wickets, taking wickets in almost every over of his spell except the final over. He finished with impressive figures of 3/29. Malinga is their leading wicket-taker in the season.
Spinner Shivang Kumar was the only spinner in the match as SRH could not bring in Harsh Dubey as an effective spinner. He bowled a brilliant spell of 3 overs and took one wicket for just 18 runs.
Prafulla Hinz kept his spirits up after Sunrisers’ victory in a thrilling last over match.
This fast bowler from Vidarbha had the upper hand for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last match as he became the first bowler in the history of IPL to take three wickets in the first over of a game.
He dismissed four of Rajasthan Royals’ five top-order batsmen and was named player of the match despite Shakib Hussain’s better performance in the last game. However, after giving away runs at an economy of 18 in the first three overs, Hinge defended 18 runs in the final over.
He gave just 7 runs in the last over and helped his team win the game by 10 runs. He also dismissed Jamie Overton in the same over and got his first wicket of the game.
