Yashasvi Jaiswal ignored India’s squad for Asia Cup 2025
Jaiswal batted with Rohit Sharma in Test cricket since July 2023, until Rohit retired in May 2025. He gained valuable experience from a senior player.
The left -handed batsman was ignored to the main squad of India for the Asia Cup 2025 and was included only as a standby. He has played 23 T20I matches, scored an average of 723 runs of 36.15 and a strike rate of 164.32, including five half -centuries and a century.
Jaiswal expects India’s next facility in the two -match Test series against the West Indies, which will start in Ahmedabad on October 2, where he will open with KL Rahul.
