Former Pakistan captain Salman Butt has suddenly been canceled in the ongoing World Championship of Legends 2025 (WCL 2025) in the ongoing World Championship of High-Profile India Champion vs Pakistan Champions, after which a new controversy has been created by challenging India.

Now, reacting to the play, Salman Butt questioned India’s true intentions, accusing him of mixing politics with cricket. The former captain said that if India was really serious in cutting relations with Pakistan, they should refuse to play Pakistan in any ICC tournament and make it official, whether it is the T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup or future Olympics.
Salman Butt said on his YouTube: “The whole world is talking about him – what message he has sent to cricket for a whole and fans? What are you trying to show? What are you trying to prove? Do not play in the World Cup now … Do not play against us in any ICC tournament.
Make this promise. See, we understand that everything has its own place. But now that you are interlinking, do not play against us in any level or tournament. Not even Olympics. Please do that. I would love to see it. The bets will be more, and I will see how much nationalism they can show at that level. ,

Salman Butt slam Indian legends to force WCL 2025 boycott
Butt further criticized senior players in the Indian team, accusing them of pressurizing the teammates of the team of leaving the match against Pakistan in the Legends 2025 World Championship. He claimed that some top names were supported and impressed to follow others, and it was unfair.
The former Pakistani batsman continued, “What is this mindset? I can’t understand now. Who is making this decision? Those 4-5 people who did not decide to play, because of them, others who had the mentality to play, felt pressure.”
Salman said that Pakistan will not forget what India did in WCL 2025. Butt signed this saying, “Keep this retained, because we will remind them.”
