Pakistan National cricket team captain Salman Aga has broken his silence on India’s national cricket team captain Suryakumar Yadav, who leaves the captain’s photoshoot before the Asia Cup 2025 final.
India and Pakistan will face each other at the Asia Cup 2025 high-voltage summit at Dubai International Stadium on 28 September, Sunday.

Just before Summit Clash, there is a tradition of captains of both teams playing in the finals participating in the pre-match photoshoot. It is seen in all tournaments in the world, including the World Cup, Champions Trophy, IPL, BBL, SA20 and other leagues.
However, the Asia Cup is about to change things in 2025 as there will be no captain’s photoshoot before the final of the continental tournament among men in green and blue.
According to several media reports, the captain’s photoshoot was canceled after Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav refused to participate with his Pakistani counterpart.
Asked about Suryakumar Yadav, he was allegedly refused to come for a photoshoot at the press conference, Salman Aga said he would follow the protocol and the Indian captain can do whatever he wants.
The skipper of the Pakistan National Cricket Team said, “We will follow the protocol. If he wants to come, he can do it. If he does not, it is fine.”

In the Super Four match against India, Haris Rauf was seen pointing to a furious jet-crossing, while Sahibzada Farhan pulled a gun festival, for which the pair has been reprimanded by the ICC.
However, Salman Aga is not in the mood to prevent his players from doing stimulating work against India and supports them to continue to do so, but by staying within the boundary.
“Every person has their own ways; if someone wants to be aggressive on the ground, why not? If you take aggression from a fast bowler, what is left?
“Every player knows how to deal with his emotions. As a captain, I give a free hand to any player to react in the way they want they disrespect or do nothing that will bring embarrassment to our people. As long as no one does this, there is no problem with me,” they said.
Saim Ayub is one that can serve Pakistan for the next 10 years – Salman Aga
Young top-order batter Sam Ayub, who considers Pakistanis as the next big player of the country, has achieved four ducks in the Asia Cup 2025. Talking about them, Salman Aga said:
“Sam Ayub is one who can serve Pakistan for the next 10 years. Players like him must be supported. Still, he contributes with his bowling and fielding, and I hope he scores tomorrow.”
Talking about his own flop show in the Asia Cup 2025, Salman Aga said he has become weak and wants to improve. He said:
“My performance is not that it should have been. I know about it, and I am working on it.”
