India’s teammates Washington Sundar and Sai Sudarshan enjoyed some fame before the upcoming five -match Test series against England.
The series will be a special for both players, as Tamil Nadu stars will share the Indian dressing room together for the first time.
Washington Sundar made his debut in international cricket in 2017
Sundar made his debut in international cricket in 2017 and has represented Team India in all three formats.
On the other hand, Sai Reformson made his India debut in 2023, but is yet to play an exam. He has played only two 3 ODIs and 1 T20I so far. Southpow earned his first Test call-up after a continuous performance with the bat in domestic cricket and IPL.

He finished IPL 2025 as the highest run-scorer. Sai Reformson played 15 games and scored 759 runs with the help of 1 century and 6 fifties. He was the only batsman this season to reach a 750 -run mark.

Next to the trial series against England, Sai Reforms and Sundar shared some light-hearted moments with each other. In a video shared by BCCI, they see each other giving a difficult time in a comic fashion.
Reformson said that Sundar has been his inspiration, although there is a difference of less than two years between the Tamil Nadu pair. In response, Sundar gave him his blessings, saying that ‘God Blass You’, which later laughed. Reformson then excavated a cheerful on the pronunciation of Sundar, to say that ‘stop it, let’s stop’.
“She has been my inspiration,” said reformson. I have played some games against him, so it is always special. I practiced him once or twice, and the way he went up and the way he played for the country was really quick. So he was in my mind. It was very nice to see him.
“In a few years of the IPL, he performed well in the IPL, then he played for the country. So it was a great motivator for me. From Chennai, you know, knowing him from an early age, playing with him, and this is an inspiration that felt me that I want to do the same. So he is my inspiration,” he said.

Sundar praised his state and IPL team partner, highlighting his impressive growth in recent years.
Sundar said, “They have told me about that, and many of my friends and my coaches have constantly talked about their development with their cricket career.”
“He has always developed, especially in the last 3-4 years and he has only managed to get better every year. In that case, I think that every time I have seen him on TV, there was a lot from him and his skills with sets and his work morality, he has definitely inspired a lot of children, especially what he is, he is too much.”
