New Delhi. West Indies team has registered a resounding victory in the do or die match of Super 8 of ICC T20 World Cup. After winning the toss and bowling lethally against America, the entire team was bundled out for just 128 runs. After this, while chasing the target, the match was ended in 10.5 overs on the basis of Sai Hope’s stormy innings. With the 9-wicket win, the team has kept its semi-final hopes alive while America’s journey has almost ended.
In the second match of Super 8 against America, the West Indies team came with the intention of winning at any cost. After winning the toss, captain Rovman Powell decided to bowl first. On the basis of excellent bowling by Andre Russell and Roston Chase, the West Indies team defeated America on the score of just 128 runs. Russell took 3 wickets for 31 runs in 3.5 overs while Chase achieved 3 wickets by spending 19 runs in 4 overs.
