Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan has moved closer to the top spot in the ICC T20I rankings after his impressive performances in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. The right-handed batsman, who is the leading run-scorer in the tournament, has become the third-ranked batsman in the shortest format.
Farhan has scored 283 runs in five innings at an average of 70.75 and strike rate of 158.10, which includes one century and two half-centuries. In the recent match against England, he scored 63 runs in 45 balls, which included seven fours and two sixes. However, the Men in Green suffered a defeat by two wickets.

After his strong performance in the T20 World Cup, Sahibzada Farhan jumped two places in the rankings. He is now very close to second-placed Phil Salt of England.
Meanwhile, India’s Abhishek Sharma has retained the first position. Despite struggling for form so far in the tournament, he remains on top. Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka dropped one place to fourth place.
There are two other Indian batsmen in the top 10. Ishan Kishan jumped three places to fifth place, while Tilak Verma slipped three places to seventh. South Africa’s Dewald Brewis moved up ten places into the top 10 at ninth place.
Jasprit Bumrah enters top 10 after jumping seven places in bowling rankings
Pakistan’s mystery spinner Usman Tariq has jumped 59 places to reach 55th position in the bowling rankings. Indian spinner Varun Chakraborty continues to top the list of T-20 bowlers, while Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan is in second place.
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah moved up seven places from 15th to eighth position. Against South Africa, Bumrah took three wickets for 15 runs, although India lost the match.
South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch, who took two wickets for 12 runs against India and three wickets for 12 runs against UAE, climbed 21 places to reach third place.
West Indies fast bowler Matthew Ford has moved up 23 places to seventh place and is slightly ahead of Bumrah. He took two wickets for 27 runs against Zimbabwe after taking three wickets for 19 runs against Italy in the group stage.
Sikandar Raza overtakes Sam Ayub to regain top all-rounder spot
Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza has regained the number one spot in the ICC men’s T20I all-rounders’ rankings. He came back on top, with Pakistan opening batsman Sam Ayub in second place. India’s Hardik Pandya remains at third position.
Raza reached the top after his strong performance in the T20 World Cup. He scored 45 against Sri Lanka in Colombo and followed it up with 27 against West Indies in Mumbai. The captain played a key role in Zimbabwe qualifying for the Super Eight stage.
India’s Shivam Dubey moved up two places to seventh among all-rounders. Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi moved up three places to eighth position in the list of all-rounders. Italy’s Benjamin Manenti jumped two places to 14th.
