Internet celebrity and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar recently took to her Instagram to openly criticize body shaming by the paparazzi.
Sara expressed her outrage over a video posted by journalist Tahir Jassas, who apparently appeared to be body shaming her and even made lewd comments about her physical appearance.

In the video posted by Jassa on her Instagram, Sara is seen at the airport with her sister-in-law Sania Chandhok.
In the 17-second video, both Sara and Chandhok have their backs towards the camera and voices can be heard asking who is who. The second voice replied, “The one with the pearl is Sara, the one next to her is her sister-in-law” (“The one with the pearl” is Sara, the one next to her is her sister-in-law). The same text in the video was written in Hindi.
The video has been removed from Instagram, but netizens have caught wind of it, and the video is now viral on platforms like X.
Sara Tendulkar calls paparazzi
On Thursday, Sara posted an Instagram Story criticizing Jesus and his now-deleted video.
Originally, she wrote, “@tairjasus – you are disgusting. This is not ‘journalism’. Leave. us. alone.”
After learning the post had been removed, she hit back, writing, “@tairjasus, you can delete your post, but that doesn’t make you any less disgusting.”

Sara Tendulkar in IPL 2026
Although her brother Arjun is a part of Lucknow Supergiants in IPL 2026, Sara has not been seen attending many of their matches.
On 12 April, both he and Chandhok participated in LSG’s match against Gujarat Titans in Lucknow. Chandhok was in LSG jersey, while Sara was in normal clothes.
Arjun Tendulkar is yet to play any matches for his team in this tournament, and LSG have only one match left – against Punjab Kings on May 23.
Sara Tendulkar in professional life
Professionally, Sara is a director at the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation. The Foundation works towards empowering underprivileged children by providing them access to holistic measures of sports, health and education for their all-round development.
Sara joined the foundation last year after completing her studies abroad in London. She also runs a Pilates academy in Mumbai, which was launched last year.
