Tendulkar urges parents to support children without pressure
Tendulkar also had a strong message for parents and asked them not to burden their children with excessive expectations and pressure during the sporting journey. The former Indian captain also stressed that failure is a natural part of cricket and should be taken as an opportunity to learn and improve.
“Please understand that nothing happens overnight. We want our children to be successful. But we have to work hard for it. And above all, we have to give children freedom. Freedom and encouragement is a great combination. I want parents to make a promise to me, that you will not put pressure on your children. Failure is a ground.
