Overall, Rajasthan was a terrible campaign of Royals, and he finished ninth and Parag scored 393 runs at an average of 32.75 and a strike rate of 166.52.

After the IPL, he returned to take action in the ongoing Dalip Trophy, where he led the eastern region against the north region as Abhimanu was absent due to Ezavaran fever.

Last year, Parag underwent shoulder surgery after playing T20i cricket for India in October 2024. He made his comeback to the Ranji Trophy in January and then played IPL 2025.

Speaking after the last day of the Dalip Trophy game against North Zone, Ryan Parag said he only wanted to have fun in the match and made a revelation about his IPL 2025 campaign.

“It was good. I mean, it was the main goal when I came here to play the game. Performance, I didn’t really focus on it. I just wanted to have some fun,” he said, as was quoted by Espncricinfo.

“I have not played competitive cricket in a long time. Since IPL, I have not really played. [In the] IPL also, I was managing a lot of stress and goods in this way. But it was good, a good outing. Not a good way with the amount of overs we have done. But still, I rolled my arm for some overs, batting for a while. It could have changed for a big score, but then I am happy. The shoulder now likes it very much. ,

He played better cricket, I was credited for this – Ryan Parag

The game between the East Zone and the North Zone ended in a draw, with a later qualification for the semi-finals.

Ryan Parag, who scored 39 runs and registered 1/78 figures, appreciated the performance of the North Zone and said that his team could do better. He explained in detail:

“He played better cricket, I was credited. I think we could do better in the first innings while bowling, but then we should have been at least 350 and then try to ban it.

“But once we did not do so, they had a leadership of about 200 runs. Then, just the batsmen batted well and just took the game away from us and the last day was only formalities, I think, to get their milestones for them.”
