There was a complete misunderstanding between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Jamie Overton when both of them went for a catch.
This could have been one of the easier catches in the Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings (DC vs CSK) match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, but he missed the chance.

In the end, neither of them made a final call for the catch and the ball eventually fell between Gaikwad and Overton. Delhi Capitals batsman Sameer Rizvi got life on the fourth ball of 19 runs.th 49 first innings overth match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Due to misunderstanding by the fielders, DC batsmen even stole a run. However, on the very next ball of the over, Overton took the wicket of Tristan Stubbs for CSK. Rizvi, who came to bat in the first innings as an impressive player for Delhi Capitals, remained unbeaten on 40 runs in 24 balls and achieved a competitive score of 155 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.
