RR suffered a major blow midway through their Qualifier 2 match against Gujarat Titans as veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had to leave the field midway through his brilliant innings due to some discomfort in his elbow.

Rajasthan Royals lost two wickets early in Qualifier 2, and in those circumstances, they needed someone who could add stability to the innings along with the brute strength and fearlessness of Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He sent his most experienced campaigner Ravindra Jadeja.
Why did Ravindra Jadeja leave the field during RR vs GT clash: Injury or strategy?
Ravindra Jadeja came out to bat for the first time after being promoted to the middle order under the Rajasthan Royals camp. He bowled brilliantly with the youngster and provided a perfect balance to RR till the end of the powerplay.

After a half-century partnership between Jadeja and Suryavanshi, RR managed to score 70 runs within the powerplay. However, as soon as the power play ended, Jadeja, who was playing on 34 off just 19 balls, was declared retired hurt and the captain stepped onto the track in his place.
Jadeja did seek some medical attention between the wickets, but it looked more like a tactical move taken immediately after the strategic timeout. However, commentators claimed that he suffered a tennis elbow injury which has been a matter of concern for the Indian superstar in recent times.
