Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) won their second game Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026in dominating fashion against their arch-rivals, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday. The defending champions scored 250/3 in their 20 overs, helped by lethal strikes from Australian batsman Tim David.
Tim David created complete havoc against the CSK bowlers as he changed the course of the match in the space of two overs. David scored 30 runs against Jamie Overton with the help of four sixes in the 19th over and one of these six went 106 meters outside the stadium. Last night fans enjoyed Tim David’s batting.

CSK’s top order faltered
Talking about the match, CSK never looked comfortable while chasing the target of 251 runs as they lost three wickets early; However, quick innings from Sarfaraz Khan, Prashant Veer and Jamie Overton saved CSK from somewhat of a humiliation as they were bowled out for 207 and lost the match by 43 runs.
Sarfaraz was the only batsman to score a half-century for CSK in the run chase, and the defeat meant that the Men in Yellow have now lost three consecutive games for the first time in IPL history. Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad will be under immense pressure in IPL 2026, as any further defeat will cost him his captaincy.
