During the live telecast, the broadcaster was trying to show Pakistan players and their Test records, but the graphic mistakenly displayed Indian cricketers. This strange mixture soon became the biggest talking point of the Dhaka Test. Social media was filled with memes, jokes and reactions, with many fans laughing at the shocking mistake. Some users jokingly said that somehow Pakistan-Bangladesh reached the Test match without being a part of the Indian cricket series.
Pakistani fans angry over possible technical glitch
At the same time, some Pakistani fans were reportedly angry with the incident and raised questions as to how such a big mistake could happen during the broadcast of an international match. Some supporters also accused the broadcaster of poor handling and negligence during live coverage.

However, it is being said that this mistake may have happened due to some technical problem or wrong graphic template being used during the live telecast. Although such mistakes are rare in international cricket, this particular mistake attracted a lot of attention due to the unexpected presence of Team India players during the Pakistan Test match.
Both Pakistan and Bangladesh teams returned to Test cricket after focusing on T20 matches for a long time. Pakistan had also recently finished the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
However, Babar Azam missed the first Test due to a knee injury, although some reports claimed that he was ruled out of the team. Earlier, Pakistan had won the toss and decided to bowl first against Bangladesh.
Here’s how fans reacted to the on-screen mix:
