England took a 2–1 lead in India before the fifth and final test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. The series is tightly contested, each of the first four matches is possible with all the results in the last day.

England won the initial Test in Headingley and third in Lord’s. India’s only win came in the second Test in Edgbaston. The fourth test in Manchester ended in a draw after an impressive batting performance from the Indian side.

The final test is currently being played at Kennington Oval, London. India has managed only two wins at this site, as well as six necklaces and seven draws. However, he registered a memorable victory against England at the Oval in 2021, where Rohit Sharma played an important role with a century (127).
