India National cricket team ODE Captain Rohit Sharma was gathered by fans when he attended the Ganesh Chaturthi ceremony in Worli, Mumbai on Thursday, 4 September.
Rohit Sharma also won the hearts with heartfelt gestures as he was urged to prevent fans to stop the mantras in front of Lord Ganesha.
Rohit Sharma cleanses fitness test
A few days ago, India’s OD captain Rohit Sharma along with several other players visited the BCCI Center of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru, to participate in fitness tests conducted by the Control Board of Cricket (BCCI) in India.

These compulsory fitness tests were carried out by the BCCI to the jam-packs from the international cricket season, where men in Blue will be in action in all three formats.
India’s immediate challenge is the Asia Cup 2025, and after that, they will have a home test series against the West Indies before visiting Australia for the White-Ball series.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah, Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur, Mohammad Siraj, Yashsvi Jaiswal, Jitesh Sharma, and others were seen at the Center for Excellence for Fitness Tests.
He conducted several exercises under new strength and conditioning coaches, Adrian Le Rukes and all the players approved fitness tests.
Rohit allegedly performed well in fitness tests, and he looked quite lean when he returned to Mumbai.

After returning to Mumbai, Rohit decided to offer prayers and bless Lord Ganesha during Ganesh Chaturthi. As he entered the site, a sea of fans moved around him, and everyone wanted to see the batting superstar closely.
When he entered the car, the mantras of ‘Mumbia Raja Rohit Sharma’ were enraged, and he was seen accepting fans. In addition, he was collected by fans, but he did not lose his cool and just passed his supporters on a smile.
However, a point came when Rohit Sharma really lost his cool and looked disappointed. This happened when the fans started the mantras of ‘Mumbia Raja Rohit Sharma’ instead of Ganpati Bappa Morya, and they requested fans with folded hands not to do so and only worship Lord Ganesha.

Rohit is currently active as an internationally as an ODI cricketer, as he retired from T20i cricket after winning the ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2024 and from Test cricket before the five -match series against England National Cricket Team.
He will be seen next time in action when India will travel to Australia for the ODI and T20I series and will be looking to give a good performance to keep its 2027 ODI World Cup expectations alive.
