Rajasthan Royals skipper Riyan Parag may have found a way to avoid major punishment for smoking e-cigarette in the dressing room during the match against Punjab Kings (PBKS vs RR) at the Maharaja Yadvendra Singh PCA Stadium in Tira.
As per the rules set by the Government of India, selling or consuming e-cigarettes is considered an illegal practice citing bad effects on health. Additionally, the dressing rooms in the Indian Premier League (IPL) are non-smoking areas.
RR captain likely to escape punishment

Recent reports suggest otherwise. According to ANI report, the match referee may be penalized for allowing Riyan Parag to take such things inside the dressing room.
A source close to Rajasthan Royals has claimed to ANI, “The board will penalize and penalize the match referee as to how a player can bring a banned substance into the dressing room during a live match, there is no such provision in the rule book to penalize Riyan.”
