Dropped too many catches – Riyan Parag
Riyan Parag was angry with Ravindra Jadeja’s catch drop, due to which he lost the match. He also praised his bowlers, especially Joffra Archer and Nandre Berger, during the post-match presentation.
Ryan Parag said, “Given too many catches. A player of quality like Abhishek cannot give up quality batsmen. Could have been better on the field. We have to be clinical. Fielding plays a major role in this. We have got a day’s break. Come back the next day mentally fresh. We have given away 10-15 runs.” [runs] On the table. To be honest, he bowled well in the 18th and 20th overs.
“Executed his yorker. Would have needed another 15 runs. [On Bishnoi’s late introduction] There were two lefties there, I thought me and Don had a better chance of taking wickets. The wicket was not conducive to spin, I had to manage just four overs. Didn’t really go to plan. Different places, different games, different methods. Don’t know how Chandigarh will go,” concluded Riyan Parag.
